Academics

Established in 1983, Delphi Academy of Florida has become distinguished as leaders in academics. In our competency based school, students move through their subjects not based on time spent in classes, but their ability to put into action what they are learning through real world application and experiences. Information and facts are tested for their validity, workability & value, and turned into realized and owned knowledge, a possession to use or not use by their own decision.  A rigorous mastery of the basics forms the core of the curriculum, with the complete program developing a wide spectrum of skills and knowledge in cultural, scientific and social subjects.

Students examinations are conducted in a separate department of the school to ensure quality of instruction and learning.  All this results in a school wide average examinations score of 97%, our senior class of 2025 receiving 91.7 % in college applied to acceptances, 100% of graduating High School students meeting the qualifications for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship (a state funded merit-based scholarship program rewarding students for excellent academic achievement with funding for postsecondary education at eligible Florida institutions.), and 33% of our High School students participating in the Dual Enrollment Program with St. Petersburg College, already earning credits towards their college degree’s.
